| All body artists must possess and demonstrate knowledge of Universal Precautions, disinfection and sterilization techniques, procedures for infection and exposure control, and must have a vaccination against hepatitis B (HBV). |
| Body Art establishments must have written infection and exposure control procedures. |
| Client records must be maintained for 3 years. |
| No body artist shall perform a body art procedure upon a minor unless the body artist has received express consent from the minor’s parent or guardian (25-4-2103, C.R.S.) |
