| The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) web site lists county health departments and other local public health agencies. 23 rural counties do not have local health departments are inspected directly by the CDPHE. A number of additional counties have consolidated their services into a single multi-county health department cover 2 or more counties.
