| Clinical Laboratories in Colorado are registered by the State Certification Program under the federal regulation known as the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). The regulation requires certification of all sites conducting any clinical test including those considered simple and without regard for payment to comply.

| A dental lab must have a work order in its possession from a licensed dentist to perform any construction, alteration, repair or duplication of any denture, plate, partial, bridge, splint, orthodontic or prosthetic appliance.
