If a business premise has a boiler, a license and inspection must be obtained from the Boiler Inspection Office. There is an $25 yearly fee in addition to any inspection fees that may be required.
This requirement covers and includes: – heating boilers – hot water heaters greater than 200,000 BTU’s – steam boilers – closed system swimming pools – apartments with 6 or more units – restaurants
Certificate of inspection must be displayed near the boiler
