The Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) today announced that over $500,000 in Marketing Matching Grants were awarded for the 2016 fiscal year, an increase of $100,000 from last year. The annual competitive grant program offers financial assistance to Colorado’s tourism industry to enhance marketing efforts to visitors. A total of 28 organizations from across the state received grants.

The CTO Marketing Matching Grant Program provides funding to Colorado not-for-profit organizations to help promote the state or a region as a tourism destination. Travel regions throughout the state are eligible for these grant dollars, as well as statewide associations, organizations and other nonprofit entities that engage in promoting travel throughout Colorado.
