Cosmetologist: 1450 hours training, pass exam, and exam fee is $40.
Barber: 1250 hours training, pass exam, and exam fee is $30.
Cosmetician: 550 hours training, pass exam, and exam fee is $30.
Manicurist: (including artificial nails) 350 hours training, pass exam, and exam fee is $30.
All licensing are on two-year licensing cycle and expire in March of even numbered years. Fees vary for exam, initial licensing renewal, reinstatement, endorsement.
Endorsement available if training and exam "substantially equivalent."
Shops/Salons: Shops and salons are not licensed but must register with the board. If salon moves or is sold is must re-register
