| Any organization with the intent of operating an amusement ride or devise within the State of Colorado must register with the Public Safety Office. Amusement Park and Carnival Ride Operators must: |
| Obtain registration application. A renewal permit must be filed annually. |
| Application fee is $500 |
| Permit Costs are as follows: |
| $135/device per year for Class B devices |
| $100/device per year for Class A devices |

Class A is only permanant rides designed for children under 12; everything else is considered Class B.
Must be able to prove $100,000 insurance per occurrence with an annual aggregate of $300,000 for Class A. Must have no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence for Class B.
Annual 3rd party inspection required by qualified inspector.

| Licenses ski lifts, sky rides, incline elevators, tramways, ski tows, aerial rides, etc. that are attached to or propelled by cable. licenses are issued in conjunction with the annual licensing inspection. |

| Additional forms must be submitted for the installation of New Tramways and the Relocation of existing tramways. |
