| To work as an acupuncturist an individual must be: |
| An individual certified with the Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, or |
| Contact the office regarding reciprocity or endorsement provisions |
| Licensed for two years. |
| Annual registration fees (every two years) with renewal every December 31. |
| Acupuncture can also be performed by qualified medical physicians and chiropractors, but those individuals are regulated by their own professional boards, and not the Office of Acupuncture Licensure. |
