The Colorado Small Business Development Center Network and Small Business Majority will co-host an interactive webinar with small business owners and journalists on Mon., Sept. 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. The webinar will discuss Colorado's health insurance marketplace, which is opening for business on Tues., Oct. 1, 2013, as well as outline what small businesses can expect from these marketplaces and what they mean for small businesses looking for more affordable health insurance options.

Small business owners in Colorado can purchase coverage through Connect for Health Colorado on Oct. 1, and coverage will begin Jan. 1, 2014. This online portal will allow small businesses to pool their buying power, giving them the kind of purchasing power large companies currently enjoy.

The Colorado SBDC Network will have a team of certified Health Coverage Guides available across the state to meet with small business owners to assist them in navigating the new marketplace.
