DENVER - Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 - The Minority Business Office, a division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, and the State Purchasing Office, a division of the Colorado Department of Personnel & Administration, today announced the 5th annual Advance Colorado Procurement Expo will be held on Jan. 22, 2014.
"We are thrilled with the opportunity to partner again with the State Purchasing Office. The collaboration between our state agencies and procurement partners is a real win for businesses across the state," said Olivia Mendoza, director of the Minority Business Office
. "We know the hundreds of people who attend this Expo are going to come away with a greater understanding of how to conduct business at a variety of levels."

WHY: Attendees who want to learn how to do business with state and local government can benefit from free workshops and can also explore the Expo and visit "buyers" and "sellers" at their booths, at no cost.
